Into the Breach PC Game is tactical a role-playing game which developed by Subset Games and consisting of Justin Ma & Matthew Davis. It’s studio’s second game, which following FTL: Faster Than Light. The game features writing by the Chris Avellone & music composed by the Ben Prunty. This was initially released on Microsoft Windows in 27th February, 2018, with the macOS & Linux versions planned.
The game Into the Breach which is set in far future where the humanity fights against army of the giant monsters collectively called Vek. To combat them, player controls soldiers which operate giant mechs that might be equipped with variety of weapons, armor & other equipment. These game also uses turn-based on the combat system. That allowing player to coordinate actions of their team in response to the enemy moves and actions. Which serve to telegraph their attacks.
In the combat, player controls 3 different mechs against Vek, & will be given objective for the map along with fixed number of turns to complete the objective. Principal goal for any of map is to protect civilian the structures which support power grid it supports the mechs. But the additional objectives might be presented. There should a civilians structure damaged or destroyed, power grid is weakened. It gives player the ability to move each mech & fire one of it’s weapons as to either defeat the Vek unit. Also push Vek off a line of attack, then avoid an attack, & intercept an attack civilian structures. Here mechs can only take limited amount of damage in during battle before it becoming inoperable. Though player can have mech idle turn to repair some damage and battle damage is completely repaired between maps.
