F1 2016 PC Game is a racing video game which based on 2016 Formula One season and it was developed by Codemasters Birmingham. This game published by Codemasters and distributed by Ubisoft in Japan and Square Enix in North America. This is the eighth instalment of game in the F1 franchise that developed by Codemasters. This game was released on 19th August 2016 on Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. This game also released for iOS, Android & tvOS on 10th November, 2016. A Mac version was also released on 7th April, 2017 by Feral Interactive.
The Codemasters announced that players would now able to play revised career mode consisting of 10 full seasons rather than 5 seasons in the previous games. These game included twenty-one circuits from 2016 season & in-game commentary from Anthony Davidson and David Croft. These game also featured eleven teams with twenty-two drivers competing in championship. And including return of Renault, also the brand-new Haas team. The players were able to choose time of day that race takes place. Also can customize helmet designs & choose race number for career mode. Safety car returned, with mechanics related to it revised, while Virtual Safety Car introduced. As well as manual starts and manual pit lane entry then the formation lap. The research & development aspect of these game was revised to allow the players greater degree of control over performance of the car. Online lobbies expanded to allow for 22 car grids.
These game received positive reception scoring 86 of 100 on review aggregator site Metacritic. And with many publications people calling it best Formula One game of Codemasters has created. The game have reached number 2 on PS4 in the UK sales chart.
